                   Artist Demos Project:

I started the Artist Demos Project in an attempt to demystify art-making and the creative process, while also highlighting some incredibly innovative artists living and working in New York City.

Art can often feel unapproachable or inaccessible when viewed in an exhibition setting without context of its maker or process. This ongoing project gives viewers a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes in artists' studios. I visited artists in their studios and asked them to break down certain aspects their practices and processes step-by-step for easy comprehension.

Artist Demos Project strives to not only educate the public about different creative materials, processes and practices, but also pay tribute to some of the many incredibly creative, industrious artists that I am lucky enough to call my friends and colleagues.

(I also did a few myself!) Thanks for watching. :)
